Something about him that you don't know: Marcus was a late call up to the Scallywag team for Leg 6. Due to a late injury to another crew member, he received a phone call from skipper David Witt only 14 hours before the departure from Hong Kong – and jumped straight on a plane from Australia to join for the race to New Zealand!

Who he is: Marcus made his name as a skiff sailor in Australia, and is a long time friend and team mate of Scallywag skipper David Witt. He's also sailed in the Extreme Sailing Series.
